Delay in document printing

If your printer or photocopier has a delay in printing, meaning when you press print it takes many minutes for the document to print. This can be caused by many reasons such as-


- Could be a large file

- Your print driver is not loaded on your computer (for direct printing) and the driver is on a server.

- You're not connected via Ethernet and printing over a WIFI connection


Another way you can diagnose if it is a printer or IT issue is to check


- can everyone else in the office print to the machine okay. If yes this relates to an IT issue specifically for the user only.

- Is the delay on every print job or a certain document

- If the issue has arisen sporadically 


If experiencing any of the above this indicates this is an IT issue and you will need to speak to your IT provider.
